Frequently Asked Questions

Picture
What is involved in the show?
The show usually lasts for 15 - 20 minutes and involves the dancer making
a grand entrance with a veil or Isis Wings if space permits. Following this
the dancer performs  to a few more songs including an amazing drum solo. When appropriate the show may include audience participation before the dancer makes her final exit.  The show is family friendly so children will enjoy it too!

What kind of Music is used?
The dancer will provide her own music on CD. The venue should provide a decent sound system - the LOUDER the better!  Packages can be arranged where by the dancer brings her own musicians who play Arabic drum rhythms or if you have your own band she is more than happy to dance to live music .  If you
have any special music requirements please discuss  them  with Temirah when making your booking.

Is tipping appropriate?
Yes unless the host has requested otherwise. The most polite way is by tucking your tip into the dancers
belt or arm bands.

Will there be more than one dancer?
Temirah collaborates with other belly dancers for larger shows -  each show is tailored to your individual needs - just call to discuss.
